IMPLEMENTATION NOTE

Jev API integration through Vercel AI Gateway.

A separate server-only adapter calls the AI SDK’s typed-evaluation API with typesafe-ai/jev, verified live on 20 September 2026. Use Vercel runtime OIDC where configured; running it elsewhere requires its own private Gateway API key. Public decision routes remain demo-only by design.

The integration pattern

  1. Normalize a bounded state.
  2. Ask a small set of typed, independently reviewable questions.
  3. Apply a confidence gate in product code.
  4. Create an evidence ID and log the eventual outcome.
  5. Keep demo results separate from real Jev evidence; never silently substitute one for the other.

Privacy and provider boundaries

The adapter requests zero data retention and the provider accepts it on the current plan; it is still a provider setting rather than something we can independently audit. The Runtime product remains a decision system with audit, policy, and evaluation value; it is not offered as a generic resale endpoint for a third-party service.
